As Easy As ABC

I am leaving this morning for a couple of days in the mountains at a writer’s retreat.  I have a couple of blogs in process and will be sure to post while I am gone.

My friend Jan shared this on her blog.   She said, “Janet Oberholtzer suggested the following getting-to-know-me topic over at her blog: Because I Can.

It’s as easy as ABC to get to know someone new or to learn to know a friend better. So whether you’ve been here before or it’s your first visit… here are some facts about me.

Q: Quote from a movie:   “Shall We Dance”   We need a witness to our lives. There’s a billion people on the planet… I mean, what does any one life really mean? But in a marriage, you’re promising to care about everything. The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things… all of it, all of the time, every day. You’re saying ‘Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go un-witnessed because I will be your witness’.”
